Description:
The subject of the project was the modernization of one of the oldest sections of the D1 Motorway, Jihlava – Velký Beranov. The main reason for this was the extension of the motorway from category D26,5/120 to D28/120. The project included the renewal of the central drainage system, reconstruction of a motorway bridge, construction of a new overpass, modernization of safety elements, construction of new central reservation crossings, works on the utility lines and traffic signs.
The construction took place during traffic in several stages in the period 09/2016 to 11/2018. The traffic was run in two narrowed lanes in each direction, except for a few short-term restrictions necessary to change the traffic measure.
