Project description:
This project required the construction of a noise barrier to reduce the noise caused by the traffic on the D1 motorway, which affects the residential buildings of Velké Meziříčí – east.
The load-bearing structure of the noise barriers consists of reinforced-concrete columns with an H cross-section. The individual decks of the noise barriers are inserted between the flanges of the columns. The foundations of the wall are formed by foundation panels placed on pile heads. The absorbing side of the anti-noise panels consists of wood chips. The panels of the reflective noise barriers are polymethylmethacrylate plates PMMA th. 15 mm. The panels are fitted into reinforcing, guiding aluminium frame profiles with inserted rubber seal. The vertical and horizontal reinforcing frame profiles are aluminium, designed from a pair of thin-walled profiles connected by an intermediate flange.
As part of this contract, noise barrier drainage structures, landscaping and permanent traffic signs – portals – were also implemented.
