Description:
The structure consists of two separate sections – portal No. 34 and semi-portal No. 35, located on the I/42 expressway. The new portal No. 34 is founded on newly built pilot foundation. It is a two-beam portal with a span of 17.25 m, height 6.02 m, weight 6.1 t. The area of the installed large-area signs is 36.55 m2.
Semi-portal No. 35 is installed on an pre-existing base, span 10.5, height 5.4 m, weight 3.4 t. The area of the installed large-area signs is 30.32 m2.
To protect the pylons of portal No. 34 located in the central reservation, the existing barriers were reinforced in a total length of 224 m. During the construction of the base, street lighting had to be relocated. The gantry signs were built during full traffic on the road.
The production of the steel structure took place in the Firesta bridge plant.
