Project description:
As part of the reconstruction of the railway superstructure, 4 355 m of rails of the S 49 shape were laid down on concrete railway ties, 210 m of rails of the S 49 shape were laid down on new wooden railway ties, and 4 260 m of rails of the S 49 were laid down on used concrete railway ties. 16 units of new railway switches of the S 49 switches were installed on concrete railway ties, and 2 units of regenerated switches of the S 49 were installed on wooden railway ties. A new rail bed in the volume of 26,000 m3 was established. A contactless track with a total length of 9 980 m was established.
40 500 m3 of soil was extracted, 2 600 m of underdrain and 2 200 m of drainage ditches were established. The base layers were made of gravel in the volume of approx. 12 600 m3 and of stabilized soils in the range of approx. 13 500 m3.
As part of the construction, two island platforms and one L-shaped outer platform without console slabs in a total boarding length of 792, including a modification of the roofing, were established in the České Velenice railway station. Furthermore, interlocking pavement was installed in paved areas in the range of approx. 4 300 m2. The island platform is accessible via a renovated underpass. A level crossing was set up for the platforms.
Three level railway crossings were reconstructed, including parts of adjoining roads. The project also involved the reconstruction of two railway bridges, one footbridge, five culverts, and the closing of one culvert. Furthermore, an traction line in the entire length of the project subject was installed, including rail earthing and installation of all high-current technology and all connections and wiring. The railway signalling and communication equipment, including all connections and wirings, was also reconstructed. The project also included the reinforcement of access areas and the treatment of level crossings, the roofing of platforms and the repair of the operating building.
