CONSTRUCTION OF THE REGIONAL ROAD NO. 87 NOWY SĄCZ - PIWNICZNA - GRANICA PAŃSTWA FROM KM 25 + 055.92 TO KM 27 + 808.37 (AFTER THE SAME RAILWAY ROAD NO. 971) LEADING TO THE PROJECTED BRIDGE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER POPRAD - IN THE WEST. THE BRIDGE IS LOCATED IN PIWNICZNA ON THE RIVER POPRAD ON THE NATIONAL ROAD NO. 87

Project description:

The scope of the reconstruction of the state road No. 87 at km 25 + 055.92 - km 27 + 808.37 included:
 

Road work:

  • Construction of a section of state road No. 87 from km 27 + 808.37 to km 27 + 944.33 – forming the entrance to the border bridge over the Poprad River.
  • Construction of the section of regional road No. 971 from km 35 + 280.85 to km 35 + 711.25.
  • Extension of the structure and surface of the state road No. 87 from km 25 + 253.77 to km 27 + 808.37 to a load capacity of 115 kN/axle.
  • Construction of the intersection of state road No. 87 with regional road No. 971 and district road No. K1519 in the form of a roundabout at km 27 + 808.37 of state road No. 87.

 

Bridge work:

  • Demolition of the original bridge and construction of a new bridge over the river Poprad (together with a temporary detour – temporary bridge with span dimensions: 24.2 + 30.4 + 24.4 + 24.2 = 103.2 m, with a total width of 8.98 m, designed for a road load of class B) at km 25 + 128.49 of the state road No. 87. The structure of the new bridge over the river Poprad and the electrified single-track railway line PKP /Polish Railways/ No. 96 on the Tranów – Leluchów line consists of three separate load-bearing structures with a theoretical span of: 27.0 + 80.0 + 27.0 m. The total length of the bridge is 191.50 m and the total width is 17.24 m. The structure was designed for Class A loads, has has a two-way road with a width of 8.60 m and sidewalks on both sides. The structure of the central span consists of two steel arches permanently fixed to the bridge deck. The bridge deck is suspended by means of steel hangers, forms a steel grate (the main beams, which are at the same time the tie-rods of the arches, pulled by vertical crossbeams) with the composite bridge deck prestressed longitudinally. While the end spans are made as a steel two-beam structure, contracted by vertical crossbars, with a composite concrete slab. The structure was installed directly.
  • Demolition of the original bridge and construction of a new bridge over the Łomniczanka creek (together with a temporary detour – temporary bridge, single-span, freely supported with a theoretical span of 19.7 m and a total width of 13.4 m, designed for Class B road loads) at km 27 + 742 state road No. 87. The new structure, designed for Class A road loads, is a single-span structure, loosely supported with a theoretical span of 17.2 m and a total width of 17.4 m. The load-bearing structure consists of prefabricated reinforced-concrete type T coupled with a reinforced concrete slab. The installation of the structure was realized as indirect on the foundation large-diameter piles 1200 mm.
  • Construction of a bridge structure over a nameless stream at km 27 + 184.36 of state road No. 87. The built object was indirectly installed on paved soil using jet-grouting technology. The structure
  • consists of a small bridge and is formed by a closed frame of perpendicular width: 1.63 x 3.50 m and clearance width 2.30 mx 3.60 m. The total length of the structure is 15.74 m.
  • Repair of the retaining wall located along the state road No. 87 together with the installation of traffic safety elements, repairs of the staircase, and construction of the reinforcement of the right bank of the river Poprad from km 25 + 637.17 to km 26 + 874.90. The scope of the repair work included the demolition of the corroded concrete surface, the grouting of cracks and fissures, the implementation of new reinforced-concrete cladding coupled to old concrete with steel anchors, and the implementation of reinforced-concrete pavements and the installation of steel railings.
  • Reconstruction of sewage system with a total length of 378.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of a low-voltage overhead power line (0.15 kV) with a total length of 1195.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of high-voltage power lines (20 kV) with a length of 352.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of an overhead communication line with a total length of 730.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of an overhead communication line with a total length of 1575.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of an underground communication line owned by Telekomunikacja Polska SA with a length of 215.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of an underground communication line owned by Telekomunikacja Kolejowa Sp. z o. o. with a length of 38.0 m.
  • Construction of low-voltage power lines (0.23 kV) – road lighting – with a total length of 4009.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of road drainage consisting of the construction of drainage ditches, drains and the construction of rainwater drainage, together with shafts, sewer connections and water waste shafts with a total length of 3485.0 m.
  • Reconstruction of the railway crossing cat. A together with security elements at km 113 + 069 of the railway line no. 069 Tarnów – Leluchów.
  • Reconstruction of railway infrastructure, on line No. 069 Tarnów - Leluchów, with a length of 240.0 m.
  • Transport of a residential building (monumental villa) on the territory of the Sądek Ethnographic Park.
