Project description:

Construction of a bridge on the river Skawa in the municipality of Sucha Beskidzka together with the entrances and the intersection of DK [State Road] No. 28 and DW [Regional Road] No. 946 and also the culvert under DK Road No. 28 The original bridge with reinforced-concrete structure consisting of three spans was dismantled and road traffic was diverted to a temporary bridge. A new single-span arch bridge with an underpass was built on the site of the old bridge. The arches and bridge deck are made as a steel structure with arch tie-rods in the form of prestressing on the bridge deck surface. The bridge deck is made of reinforced concrete. Loads from the bridge deck to the arches are transmitted using stainless steel mesh rods. The original DN1500 pipe culvert under road DK No. 28 was replaced by a reinforced concrete frame. The structure holds a road with 3 lanes and a width of 3.5 m and 2 paths for pedestrians and cyclists with a width of 3.0 m.
